Day one with javascript
This book caught my eye from the library this morning--"Javascript for absolute beginners."
I borrowed it.
It has been a long while since I last opened vim to code in python. Now I am back with vimtutor and learning how to use vim.
I have decided to not cut back on my jobs and focus instead on growing my business.
Writing copy for clients is a job. And so is playing poker. The effort/reward ratio with them are one to one. Growing my business, the effort/reward ratio is one to many.
With the affiliate marketing business, let's say I write a blog update and it gets crawled by search engines. This makes that one blog update available to anyone who will do a search for that blog's keywords. People find the blog, find the affiliate marketing link, and may do business with me.
The blog update works for me. I work ten minutes writing that update and it is available for years to come as long as that website is up and running.
And now I am back to learning how to code. This time, I decided to learn javascript. I don't know how this is related to my big picture, but synchronicity is telling me to go this way.
Learning how to code is one to many. I can create a website or web application and it works for me for a long time.
Again, no expectations. I don't know where this path is going. I only know that I have time to learn javascript and it is something that interests me.
